Last year, I got a call from April at C.C. Monroe Event Design about filming a baby shower she was designing. Before this, I had never filmed a baby shower, but after this experience, I would love to film more in the future! I can’t reveal who the soon to be parents are, but my job was to film the whole event – Starting with the set up and continuing as guests enjoyed the party and celebrated this growing family. I also filmed a segment called Baby Talk, that showed the guests giving well wishes and advice to the parents to be! It was so much fun filming this event, it was even featured in Oh it’s Perfect.

The theme of this luxury baby shower was “shit just got real.” This cheeky baby shower theme inspired the feel of the entire event. The details planned by the Los Angeles event team were bold, mature and sleek, with a touch of playful sass. Every inch was packed with personality – from the bold color scheme, to adult-friendly drinks each with a citrusy zing. Guests laughed over well-humored details everywhere, which you can see more of in the video below. It was so fun to reflect the personality of the new parents and this fun event in the video I created – watch it below!
