Sands Hotel & Spa Wedding: A one-of-a-kind aesthetic

One of the best things about this venue is the cohesive and elevated aesthetic that is expertly executed at every turn. From the vintage pink and black color scheme to the Moroccan-inspired decor. the Sands Hotel & Spa perfectly embodies the colorful, mid-century modern aesthetic that makes Palm Springs so sought after. The wedding couple embraced this theme effortlessly with subtle touches of pink and black, resort-themed details and their orchid-adorned cake.

From the highlight reel to the documentary take

Mariah and Andrew were referred to me by their planner, Michelle Garibay Events. Their main request was to capture the wedding as it was (and with all of Michelle’s beautiful details). So, I curated a highlight reel to encompass the full experience, along with full documentary film so she could re-live it all again and again.

From middle school history class to their Sands Palm Springs wedding

Mariah and Andrew, met in their 7th-grade history class, and have been each other’s happily ever after since.  The  details throughout their wedding, show just how in love they are (just look at those pet-inspired signature cocktails). And can we take a moment to appreciate Mariah’s pink rhinestone-encrusted Louboutins? 

The Sands Hotel wedding weekend to remember

The couple kicked off the festivities with a night of dinner and dancing. Friday evening, their guests arrived at the iconic retro wedding venue for a welcome party, complete with cocktails and a taco truck. The next day, everything came together for a glamorous celebration, capturing a mod-boho take on the mid-century aesthetic throughout the night.
