1: Big Sur Lodge is nestled in Redwoods you have the option of a cozy cabin or roughing it out in wilderness. Surrounded by nature it can be breathtaking but a little public with hikers walking through. And with a quick drive its chasing the ocean coast for golden hour shots.

2: Garrapata State Park is a stunning beach spot with breathtaking ocean views surrounded by Redwoods. If you’re willing to go on a little hike it’s worth it.

3: Ventura Big Sur is a beautiful luxurious resort in Big Sur perfect for couples looking for a hip glamming experience or a high end room with an ocean view to get ready in. And with a simple walk you can get lost in the Redwoods.

How to Elope in Big Sur: Permits and Regulations

Before you pick your location and exchange vows in nature’s cathedral, familiarize yourself with the local regulations. Permits might be necessary for certain locations, ensuring that your ceremony respects the environment and other visitors. Research the requirements and obtain the necessary permits to make your elopement experience seamless and respectful of the surroundings.
