This Fisherman’s Village wedding was an iconic representation of this couple’s favorite spot – Marina Del Rey. Vanessa and Spencer choose to mix boats and brunch for their wedding day, and the result was so relaxed and charming. The wedding party cruised along the bright blue water and enjoyed a comfortable day with the best views. This wedding was eleven years in the making, and it was so nice to memorialize the speeches about Spencer and Vanessa’s story in their video.
During this Marina Del Rey wedding, I was lucky to worth with husband and wife photography team Dan and Tyler. Their work is beautiful and compliments my video style so well. I am always happy to recommend the best vendors I have worked with, while you are planning your wedding.
Possibly my favorite part was filming the newly married couple’s first dance out on the boat deck, with the morning light bouncing of the water. Even a bit of seasickness (my first while shooting a wedding!) couldn’t outweigh the fun I had filming this Fisherman’s Village wedding. Now I feel like a boat wedding pro, and can’t wait to record more.
