I love everything about styled shoots and in 2020, that’s about all I did once the pandemic kicked in. I was told styled shoots lead to bigger opportunities and after 2020 I believe it. I started off with my first photography shoot out hosted by the Modern Love Event in San Diego at the blank space venue Luce on Kentter.

This shoot led me to shooting back in San Diego at the notorious Luce loft. The florist from the Modern love event loved my video and asked if I could shoot his personal styled shoot at the Luce loft. I said yes!!

That video led me to shoot a Golden Girls styled shoot in early 2021. Which lead me to be published in Green Wedding shoes!!

The Facebook group something borrowed, something new saw my work and asked if I could shoot their Golden Girls Back styled shoot! I love the Golden Girls. They are my sex in the city so I could I refuse! And at the end of this shoot I got to eat cake!! And if you don’t know anything about me, know that I love sweets and my new requirements for volunteering for a styled shoot. Cake must be provided!! Patience is the name of the game. These back-to-back shoots led me to meeting new vendors, brides and couples. As restrictions began to lift, I was asked to film a Birthday Party!! And this birthday party was EPIC!! Between 2020-2021 I did about eight styled shoots. (I cut down in 2022.) But just because I cut down doesn’t mean I don’t love the hustle. Styled shoots are a lot of work and sometimes it doesn’t pay off in getting published. But it does pay off in connections, and engagement. And meeting someone that will pass your name is all the well while worth it!!
