A Spell is Cast

Matthew and Merry had a wedding that was nothing short of magical. They chose to exchange their vows at the iconic Houdini Estate, located in the Hollywood Hills. The estate, once owned by the famous illusionist and escape artist Harry Houdini, is a truly breathtaking venue that provided the perfect backdrop for the couple’s special day.

The Houdini Estate is a sprawling property that spans over five acres and includes a number of unique features such as a stunning waterfall, an antique birdcage, and a hidden cave. The estate is also surrounded by lush gardens, providing a picturesque setting for a wedding. Be careful, it’ll put a spell on you.

Meet me at the Houdini Estate

Matthew and Merry’s ceremony took place in a secluded area of the estate, with the bride walking down a winding path that led to a beautiful outdoor altar. The couple exchanged vows as their friends and family looked on, but their dog stole the show as he came running down the aisle with the rings.

After the ceremony, the couple and their guests enjoyed a cocktail hour on the estate’s expansive patio They sipped on champagne and enjoyed hors d’oeuvres while taking in the stunning views. The reception took place on the estate’s expansive lawn, which was decorated with elegant floral arrangements and enchanting lights. The couple shared their first dance on the ballroom floor of the lawn.

The wedding dinner was a sumptuous feast, featuring an 8-course buffet meal. The couple and their guests dined on a gourmet menu that included everything from seared shrimp to short ribs, all paired with fine wines and cocktails.As the night went on, Matthew and Merry danced under the stars, surrounded by their loved ones and the magical ambiance of the Houdini Estate.

A Magical Moment

But my favorite part of the wedding was Matthew and Merry’s first look. Matthew was so nervous to see Merry and when he finally did, he burst out in tears of excitement, the relief of finally seeing her and the joy of being able to finally kiss her.

Matthew and Merry’s wedding at the Houdini Estate was truly a magical event, one that they and their guests will remember for a lifetime. The stunning venue, delicious food, and beautiful decorations all came together to create a truly unforgettable day that celebrated the couple’s love and commitment to each other.
